Salaar OTT release: Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire, starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Meenakshi Chaudhary, has been released on OTT platform Netflix.

In a stellar achievement, Prabhas-starrer Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire has entered the prestigious ₹400-crore club within a remarkable three weeks of its release. Directed by the acclaimed Prashanth Neel, renowned for his work on KGF, the film has resonated with audiences across Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada languages.

The box office clash between Salaar and Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki did not deter the former’s success, with the film accumulating ₹60 lakh on its 22nd day. The overall collection now stands at an impressive ₹402.40 crore, showcasing the film’s widespread popularity.

Prithviraj Sukumaran, who plays Vardharaja Mannaar in Salaar, shared his experience of working with Prabhas. In an interview with ANI, Prithviraj expressed admiration for Prabhas’ humility, describing him as a “really nice guy” who goes out of his way to make everyone comfortable. Praising Prabhas’ down-to-earth nature, Prithviraj added that despite being a massive star, Prabhas remains unaware of his celebrity status, making the collaboration delightful.

The success of Salaar was recently marked by a joyous celebration organized by the film’s makers. Images shared on Salaar’s Instagram and Hombale Films’ production house showcased moments of camaraderie as Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and director Prashanth Neel cut a celebratory cake, capturing the joyful spirit of the team.

Released on December 22, Salaar has received acclaim not only for its gripping narrative but also for its stellar ensemble cast, including Shruti Haasan, Sriya Reddy, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Saran Shakthi. The film’s box office triumph reinforces its status as a cinematic powerhouse, attracting audiences from diverse linguistic backgrounds.

As Salaar continues its impressive run, the film’s success celebration reflects the collaborative effort of the cast and crew, highlighting the significant role played by each team member. The post-cake-cutting images and the film’s accumulating box office numbers underscore Salaar’s impact and resonance in the world of Indian cinema.

Despite the ongoing clash at the box office with Dunki and other releases, Salaar’s narrative, coupled with Prabhas’ star power and the team’s dedication, has propelled the film to join the exclusive ₹400-crore club. As the film’s success story continues, Salaar remains a testament to the power of engaging storytelling and stellar performances in captivating audiences and achieving monumental box office milestones.
