Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon Makes ₹6.50 Crore Debut

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya Box Office Collection Day 4: Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, the only romantic feel-good movie released in the Valentine's week, may benefit further from the lack of competition.

The much-anticipated Bollywood film “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,” headlined by Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, hit the silver screens on February 9, garnering significant attention from audiences and critics alike. On its inaugural day, the movie amassed a commendable ₹6.50 crore at the box office, marking a promising start to its theatrical journey.

As per media reports, the production budget for “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” stands at ₹75 crore, indicating a substantial investment in the project. The movie’s performance on its opening day sets the stage for its subsequent box office trajectory and overall commercial success.

While the film’s initial reception appears promising, its occupancy rates in major Indian cities varied on the opening day. Chennai witnessed the highest occupancy rate at 48.5%, particularly during evening and night screenings, suggesting a favorable response from audiences in the region. Similarly, cities like Mumbai and Bengaluru also experienced heightened interest during later showings, contributing to the movie’s overall box office performance.

However, regions such as Bhopal and Surat reported comparatively lower levels of interest, reflecting a diverse audience reception across different demographics. Despite varying occupancy rates, “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” debuted across 7,372 screenings nationwide, with evening slots emerging as the most popular choice among viewers.

For lead actor Shahid Kapoor, “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” follows a mixed track record in recent releases. His previous film, “Jersey,” encountered underwhelming box office returns, managing to amass ₹26 crore worldwide. However, Shahid’s portrayal in the blockbuster hit “Kabir Singh” remains a highlight in his career, grossing a staggering ₹377 crore. Additionally, his appearance in the successful web series “Farzi” further solidified his position in the industry.

On the other hand, Kriti Sanon’s recent cinematic endeavors have been met with varying degrees of success. Despite a string of box office disappointments with films like “Ganapath,” “Adipurush,” and “Shehzada,” her earlier project “Bhediya” achieved moderate success, earning ₹96 crore globally against a budget of ₹60 crore.

Notably, Kriti Sanon’s solo-heroine ventures have yielded mixed results commercially. While “Bareilly Ki Barfi” and “Luka Chuppi” garnered moderate success, their box office performances were not as stellar compared to ensemble cast projects.

As “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” continues its theatrical run, audience feedback and box office trends will play a pivotal role in determining its long-term success and impact on the careers of its lead actors.
