Urvashi Rautela was born in Kotdwar, Uttarakhand on 25 February 1994. She was born in a Hindu business class family. Her father Manvar Singh Rautela and mother Meera Singh both were engaged in some business. She has a younger brother Yash Rautela. Her family lives in Kotdwara. She did her schooling at DAV School, Kotdwar. She completed her college education at Gargi College, New Delhi. She completed her diploma in acting at New York Film Academy’s School of film and acting Talents. Currently, She is single and concentrating on her career. Career :
Urvashi Rautela got her first major break at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. She also won the title of Miss Teen India in 2009. She was the show stopper for Lakme Fashion Week and she walked the ramp at Amazon Fashion Week. At the age of 17, she won Indian Princess 2011, Miss Tourism World 2011, and Miss Asian Supermodel 2011. She also won the title of Miss Tourism Queen Of The Year 2011 that was held in China with participants from 102 countries and became the first Indian woman to win the pageant.
Urvashi Rautela was also offered Ishaqzaade but she turned it down as she wanted to focus on the Miss Universe pageant. In 2012, she won the crown of I AM She – Miss Universe India as well as the special award for Miss Photogenic. However, she had to relinquish her I AM She crown as she was underage at that time. In 2015, she joined the Indian pageantry again and reclaimed her title. This made her the first and only woman in history to win the Miss Universe India crown twice. Additionally, she also won the title of Miss Beautiful Smile at the Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva Miss Universe India 2015.
Urvashi Rautela made her Bollywwod debut with film Singh Saab The Great opposite Sunny Deol. After Singh Saab The Great, she appeared in Honey Singh’s international video album Love Dose. Soon after, she made her Kannada debut with Mr. Airavata. Following that, she appeared in two films, Sanam Re and Great Grand Masti as well as two music videos. The first was Laal Dupatta with Mika Singh and Anupama Raag and the other was Gal Bann Gayi along with Vidyut Jammwal. In 2017, She starred in a special dance number Haseeno Ka Deewana in Kaabil. Apart from that, she made a special appearance in the Bangladeshi film Porobashinee. She also appeared in Hate Story 4, Pagalpanti and Virgin Bhanupriya. In 2012 Urvashi Rautela was disqualified from the Miss India competition due to the controversy regarding her age, but she won again in 2015.
