In a compelling display of talent, Musheer Khan’s sensational century powered India to a commanding 201-run victory over Ireland in the ICC U-19 World Cup, virtually securing their spot in the Super Six round. Musheer’s explosive innings of 118 off 106 balls propelled India to a formidable total of 301 for 7, creating a daunting challenge for Ireland. In response, Ireland faltered and managed only 100 runs in 29.4 overs, with Naman Tiwari and Saumy Kumar Pandey leading the bowling charge for India.

 

Musheer Khan’s exceptional knock, featuring nine fours and four sixes, showcased his game awareness and ability to pace an innings. Partnering with skipper Uday Saharan (75 off 84 balls), Musheer added a crucial 156 runs, setting the foundation for India’s dominant performance. Reflecting on his innings, Musheer emphasized patience and credited his success to waiting for the right opportunities.
